About Getaway Shootout

Getaway Shootout is a four-player race where you can only jump left or jump right. Lurching toward the exit past rivals, obstacles and weapon pickups, you shoot, punch and explode your way to the getaway vehicle. It is chaotic and hilarious and controls like a drunk kangaroo, on purpose.

Two players on one keyboard; the others are bots.

How to Play Getaway Shootout

1. Press Play and pick one or two players.
2. Press left-jump and right-jump to move; it is the only way to move.
3. Grab weapons on the way and use them on rivals.
4. Reach the getaway first.

Controls

• Player 1: W jump left, E jump right, R use weapon.
• Player 2: I jump left, O jump right, P use weapon.
• That is all.

Tips and Tricks

• Short alternating hops are faster than big leaps.
• Grab the gun before the race, not during it.
• Falling is not losing; the bots fall too.
• Watch the map hazards on the way to the exit.
